To make things understand for you, I have enlisted these times:
- From 2 A.M. to 6 A.M. is the Vata period - the time of fresh awakening and rising activity which is synergistic to the functioning of Vata. leave bed early.
- From 6 A.M. to 10 A.M. is the time of Kapha - it is a slow time, any brisk physical activity is a great thing to do at this time. = Walk, swimming, yoga etc
- From 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. is the time of Pitta - where Sun is at its peak and so should be the main meal of your day. = you can have a good nutritious meal
- From 2 P.M. to 6 P.M. is the time of Vata again. = closing for the day..even body need rest.
- From 6 P.M. to 10 P.M. is the time of Kapha again. By 10 P.M. you should hit the bed, no fb, no whats up, no tv... because the last bus that takes you to the land of sleep is at 10. If you don’t board this bus, then you will start complaining about insomnia(neend na aana).
- But if it’s way past 10 P.M. and you are still awake, then it is again the time of Pitta - From 10 P.M. to 2 A.M. – a time where you simply cannot sleep. and our lifestyle can disturb our biological cycle and we become victim of life disese like obesity(Motapa), cardiac disease(Dil Ki bimari), Diabetes(Sugar)etc etc...
So, we should understand these Doshas and the Dosha-Clock in order to plan our Daily Routine accordingly… in order to lead a healthy and happy life.
